1(Boudreaux_bowl) Open segmented bowl by Lou Boudreaux . It is made from Walnut and Pau Amarillo. 13 5/8” in diameter and 6” in height. A masterpiece from a prolific bowl turner who has made countless bowls for Empty Bowls and numerous boxes for Beads of Courage.
2(Bassett_icicle)This icicle style Ornament is donated by Kevin Bassett it is 2 5/8” in diameter and 7. 1/4” long. The wood is unknown and painted. It has a slight bit of eccentric turning at the last section of the icicle.
3(Vogtman_bowl)The unique style of Rob Vogtman is on display with this small bowl. It measures 6 3/4” in diameter and 2 1/2” tall. Made of Maple and Rosewood the angled staves between the segments are quite particular to Rob.
4(Holderman_box1)

This beautiful Finial box is done in the Jimmy Clews style by John Holderman. The piece is dyed and has a gold interior. Measuring 2 7/8” wide and 9” long and 4” tall. The piece is delicate and expertly done.
5(Holderman_box2)Crafted by John Holderman the finial box has a natural edge rim it is made from Oak and Rosewood. It measures 3 3/4” in diameter and 6” tall. The rim has a small crack and some activity (piercing) by wood boring insects.  Still an interesting expertly crafted, delicate and beautiful item.
6(Bassett_bowl)Donated by Kevin Bassett this natural edge bowl has a history. The bowl is 12” on the long axis and 7 1/2” on the narrow axis it is 4” h. Crafted from Plano’s Bicentennial Bur Oak tree. In 1987 the tree was recognized by the International Society of Arboriculture and the National Arborist Association as have existed at the time of the signing of the US constitution. The tree is well over 300 years old and lives in Bob Woodruff park in Plano, Tx. The sap wood is slightly spalted. An uncommon piece from an uncommon tree. The wood was acquired when extensive pruning was necessary to save the tree due to a severe and increasing lean.
7(White_tree)This little Christmas tree was donated by professional wood artist Corey White. The wood maybe oak. The base is 4” in diameter and 5 3/4” h. Expertly carved and colored. This piece will be treasured.
8(Worchester_hollowform) This item donated by Steve Worchester is a Hemispherical hollow form. Enhanced with polka dots. The piece is 3 3/4” d x 2” h. Extraordinarily light weight with thin walls.
9(Monoco_balusters)These two baluster examples were turned and donated by Matt Monoco when he was at DAW to demonstrate and teach classes this year. One is made of Oak and measures 13 5/8” tall from a 2 5/16” turning square. The piece has a captive ring. The other is Walnut and measure 11 7/8” tall from a 2 7/8” turning square. Also with a captive ring. Both pieces are signed by Matt
10(Bassett_vase)

Donated by Kevin Bassett this vase is made from an oak Burl it measures 4 3/4” in diameter and 9” h. The piece is dyed to enhance the marvelous wood grain. There are natural voids and a live edge rim.
