It was designed and built by my father (Daniel P. Foster) who was a master machinist. He served his country for 20 years in the US Navy where he learned his trade. He built lathes for my brother, myself, and then finally one for himself. He probably turned a hundred bowls on it. It’s free to anyone that can appreciate it. My only request is that whoever gets it never sells it but rather gives it to another wood turner when they are done with it.
