November's theme is Holiday related turnings. Post your Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or for you Seinfeld fans Festivus turnings.

This thread is for advanced turners,  but there is another thread with prizes for any skill level. 1 entry per member. Prizes will be awarded. Entries in the Advanced showcase are not eligible for the Open Showcase prize(s). Please provide a description, including wood(s) and other materials used as well as the dimensions of the work.

A Maple and Walnut Inside-Out Christmas Tree candle holder painted and lacquered on the inside and finished with gloss wipe-on Poly on the outside.

That's really awesome. I'd love to see a picture of how you started it. I've tried some inside out ornaments with little success and would love to learn how you did this.
