$50.00Sunday February 20th , we will have a Basic Pyrography class taught by Janice Levi.

Time: 10 am to 2 pm
Cost: $50
There are several woodburning options which include (1) a soldering iron, (2) a solid tip burner, and (3) an adjustable tip burner. A brief discussion including pros and cons of each burner will be given but the bulk of the demo will involve the adjustable tip burner.
The demo/class will include:
- Selecting a machine that fits the needs of the person
- Selecting tips
- Making your own tips
- Selecting wood
- Woodburning techniques
- Temperature control and its importance
- Selecting/creating patterns
- Techniques for applying patterns to flat and round surfaces
- Cleanup after burning
- Safety tips for health and wood
